PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Lauren completed her Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta in 2018. Prior to completing her masters, Lauren worked as a Behavioural Interventionalist for children with ASD, which inspired her to pursue pediatric therapy. Lauren has continued to work in community pediatrics since graduation. Lauren enjoys working alongside children’s families to provide the best care possible.


Lauren has continued to take courses and webinars to further her knowledge and experience in pediatric physiotherapy. These courses and webinars include: Physiotherapy and ASD by Shelley Mannel; Dynamic Core for Kids and the Application to Babies by Shelley Mannel; Toe Walking by Liesa Prusaud; Dynamic Bracing with Cascade; Developmental Orthopedics by Beverly Cuisick, as well as many webinars on standing frames, theratogs and neuromuscular scoliosis.


In her free time, Lauren enjoys knitting as well as hiking and kayaking in the summer, and skiing in the winter. She also swam competitively for many years and was involved with coaching for the Special Olympics for 10 years.
